Increase Your Impact With Employer Gift Matching
If your employer is one of the many corporations participating in our Matching Gifts Program, you can double your gift at no additional cost to you. And if you volunteer with us, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support.
Any matching gifts you initiate are included toward your donor benefits. For example, if you donate $600 and your company matches with a $600 donation, your total gift of $1,200 will provide you with all the benefits of being a Director’s Circle donor.
Requesting a Matching Gift is Easy:
Use the search tool below or contact your Human Resources department to determine your eligibility and your employer’s process.
Complete your employer’s requirements. This usually means filling out their form to inform them of your gift and request the match. Some employers include an option to have your donations come directly out of your paycheck and the matching gifts processed at the same time.
Once the Minnesota Zoo Foundation has verified receipt of your gift, your employer will initiate their match. Some employers pay out matching gifts every month, others process them anywhere from one to six times per year.
